ACCOUNTANT IN GLASTONBURY

I was brought up in Wales and trained as a Chartered Accountant in a small firm in Bath before moving to a larger regional firm, where I obtained valuable experience in dealing with clients and managing a portfolio. The practice was originally set up in 1973, and I joined as an employee in 1999, becoming a partner soon after. The practice is a traditional ‘High Street’ practice, dealing with individuals and businesses of varying sizes across many different industries. I am assisted by 3 accounts staff, plus an administrative assistant. My staff are long standing, which gives a continuity of service and allows us to get to know the clients and how they operate. Being a ‘small firm’, there are no layers of staff, so our clients are able to directly speak to the people doing the work. This allows us to provide our clients with a very ‘Personal Service’. I have over 30 years of experience in dealing with a range of accountancy and taxation matters and deal with them in a practical way. Through our Fee Protection insurer, I have access to a panel of Tax, VAT and Payroll consultants and specialists who provide guidance and technical advice. My practice’s specialism is in dealing with family companies, and I have an intimate understanding of the issues and pressures that they face on a day-to-day basis.
